Bartlesville Man Charged With Aggravated Assault

A Bartlesville man who was facing misdemeanor charges of domestic abuse now faces felony charges.
22-year-old Deontae Hicks was charged on Tuesday with aggravated assault, a felony, and domestic abuse by assault and battery, a misdemeanor.
According to the Bartlesville Police Department, Hicks allegedly assaulted the victim on three separate dates between Dec. 19 to Dec. 21 of 2024. Read the full story here.
Hicks also faces a misdemeanor charge of contempt of court. According to the Bartlesville Police Department, on June 8, Hicks allegedly made a phone call to the alleged victim in the matter, violating a no-contact order.
Hicks was convicted of aggravated assault and battery in 2022. Read the full story here.
Hicks will appear in court again to face the new charges on June 13 at 9 a.m. His bond is set at $25,000.
