Arvest Foundation Supports Westside Community Center

The Arvest Foundation recently announced a $5,000 donation to the Westside Community Center.
The contribution will support WCC’s W.E. Pro$per program, a workforce development initiative that equips underserved youth with essential professional, technical, and social skills for future careers.
Arvest local bank President David Nickel and Sales Manager Whitney Doolin presented the check to Westside Community Center Executive Director Shavon Robles and board President David Austin.
“The W.E. Pro$per program has provided financial guidance to youth in our community with its educational classes, work experience, and hands-on skill-building,” Nickel said. “It is an honor to present this check on behalf of the Arvest Foundation.”
“This generous gift from the Arvest Foundation is more than a donation, it’s an investment in the future of Bartlesville,” Robles said. “Through W.E. Pro$per, we’re equipping young people with the tools they need to rise, thrive, and lead. This support helps us continue our mission to empower, educate, and connect—serving all of Bartlesville as one big community.”
Westside Community Center’s mission is to empower and unite the community through educational workshops, enrichment activities, and career readiness programs that foster personal growth and create opportunities for a brighter future.
