Indians Tryouts on Saturday
Summer baseball is only a few weeks away.
The Doenges Toyota Indians are back for another year, but this season under new direction.
Tony Osborne and some Oklahoma Wesleyan alums are going to run the program for the first time this summer. Tryouts will be this Saturday, May 2, at the OKWU baseball field.
Osborne has been hard at work recruiting some of the best in local baseball. He talks about the vibe of summer baseball in Bartlesville.
Osborne says he has garnered commitments from several returners and some new players as well. He talks about the roster as we know it in April.
The Indians will begin their summer schedule in early June.
Tryouts begin at 9:00 AM this Saturday at OKWU’s baseball facility.
There will once again be a younger Braves team this summer, which means 17 and younger players in the community are also invited to attend.
